Description: You’re a perfectionist. First and foremost, you enjoy precision work and take pride in completing a project with quick, skillful efficiency. The lab technicians rely on you for help with the most difficult physical hardware problems no matter what the media – and you have a proven track record when it comes to hardware repair. Your knowledge of operating systems and different types of media is impeccable. You’ve been around. You’ve seen what’s out there. You’re up to date on what’s coming. You’re confident in your abilities and you’re eager to come up with new solutions to old problems. Extract raw data, inspect integrity of data and recover critical file system structures from storage media. Repair hardware to make storage devices temporarily accessible.

Qualifications: A+ certification, BSEE, BSCS, or Math degree with emphasis in computers. Advanced knowledge in PC-DOS, Mac, UNIX/XENIX, & Novell Netware. In-depth knowledge of PC repair &/or troubleshooting, disk drives, disk structures, tape systems and formats. Experience maintaining and operating AS400, System 36, DEC VMS desired. Class 100 Clean Room experience a must.
